Main tasks of the Centre:

- revealing of the chronic diseases among seafarers;

- treatment of chronic diseases;

- prophylactics of chronic diseases

- diagnostics of seafarers , their dependants, and other people.

Medical centre "Health" with the help of MSEK carries out the assessment to determine the per cent correlation of seafarers' timely loss of capacity for work as a result of traumas received during the professional activity. Jointly with the "American steamship Owners mutual protection and indemnity Association inc" the special list of pre-employment examinations was developed . This includes the test on Hepatitis A, B, C, HIV test, Liver-test, stress-test and UTZ.
